IBM laid claim to the T-Rex containing the densest electronics in the world: 3.2 billion transistors in 16 chips on 101 layers of ceramic glass connected to 5000 pins by 500 meters of wire, all in a 3.7" x 3.7" x 0.75" module. (May 13, 2003)
